Use an eye cream

Many people don't use an eye cream and think that it isn't an important step to a skincare routine. But this is where they are wrong. Your eyes are the first place where someone looks at you and if you have any signs of aging around your eyes, you can look older than you are. If you want to get rid of your dark eye circles, it's best to use eye creams that have brightening ingredients like vitamin C. And if you want an eye cream to get rid of any puffiness, it's best to use one that has caffeine in it! 

You should be using an eye cream twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night. You need to be consistent with using an eye cream in order to see visible results! So use your eye cream every single day and don't miss a day! The skin around your eyes will thank you and you will end up having bright happy eyes. 


Use sunscreen everyday! 

Sunscreen is so important to use every day. Yes, even when it rains. The sun's UVA and UVB rays are harmful to our skin and we need to protect ourselves from it. Some negative outcomes from sun exposure include, prominent fine lines and wrinkles, sun spots, skin cancer, and sunburns. UVA rays are responsible for acceralating the skin aging process, while UVB rays are responsible for sunburns and cancer. 

It's best if you use a sunscreen that has at least SPF 30 and to reapply every 1-2 hours. You want to also make sure that you apply enough and apply around a shot glass amount to your entire body! While a teaspoon amount should be enough to cover your face! Make sure that you use a sunscreen formula that suits your skin type. If you have oilier skin then use a gel formula and if you have dry skin then use a creamier formula. 


Moisturize your hands and décolleté

Everyone talks about the importance of moisturizing your face, but not many people stress the importance of moisturizing our décolleté and hands. The skin on our décolleté and neck are thin and can easily wrinkle, which is why we need to take extra care in these areas. The best way you can take care of your neck and décolleté is to apply your facial products to these areas right after you apply them to your face. 

It's also important to pay attention to your hands because they can age faster compared to other parts of your body since it's regularly exposed to the environment.
